Howrah's happy TattsLotto winner found!

Monday 31 August 2015 - After a week away on holiday, a man from Howrah in the greater Hobart area checked his TattsLotto entry and discovered he’d won a division one prize worth more than $235,000!

The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said it was an out-of-the-ordinary entry type for him that won the first division prize.

“It was one of those fluke things. I normally play a QuickPick entry but this time I put a few of my own numbers down on a coupon and won!” the man exclaimed.

“I think it’s fate and what will be, will be!

“The money will certainly come in handy! It takes away the hassle of saving up for things, so now I’ll be a lot more comfortable.

“And of course, the quality of the red wine I buy will increase!” he jokingly added.

The unregistered System 8 marked entry was purchased from newsXpress Shoreline at the Shoreline Shopping Centre, Shop 3 at 6 Shoreline Drive in Howrah.

Across Australia, there were 18 entries that each won a division one share worth $235,440.11 in TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 22 August. Along with the winning entry sold in Tasmania, there were six winning tickets purchased in Victoria, five in Queensland, three in New South Wales, one in South Australia, and two in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3557 on Saturday 22 August, 2015 were 27, 30, 13, 18, 4 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 5 and 32.
