Four Queensland entries win $1.2 million Superdraw prize!

Monday 3 August 2015 - Four Queensland entries each scored a division one share worth $1,235,294.12 in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $21 Million Superdraw.

Three of the winning tickets were individual entries purchased in Atherton, Mitchelton and online, while the other division one prize will be shared by a 10-member syndicate in Cairns.

Monday morning surprise for new millionaire!

A woman from the Atherton Tablelands kicked off the working week as a new millionaire after discovering she’d won a division one share worth more than $1.2 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $21 Million Superdraw.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was unaware she’d scored a first division share worth $1,235,294.12 until a Golden Casket official contacted her with the dream-come-true news this morning.

“Oh my goodness! Are you joking me?” the stunned winner asked.

“This is overwhelming. I’m feeling all funny at the moment. You’ve just made my day!

“I feel lucky when I win $20 – I never expected to win division one!”

The excited winner said she plans to put her Saturday Gold Lotto windfall towards her retirement down the track.

The winning 50-game QuickPick was purchased at Atherton Supa IGA, Shop 5 in Silo Central Shopping Centre, 2 – 4 Silo Road in Atherton.

Cairns syndicate shares $1.2 million prize

There were more winners celebrating in Far North Queensland after a 10-share group syndicate in Cairns won a division one prize worth more than $1.2 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto $21 Million Superdraw!

In addition to the first division win, the syndicate of players also won other divisional prizes, making the total prize worth $1,274,669.57 or $127,466.96 per share.

Maxine and Richard Hare are the owners of Edge Hill Newsagency which set up the winning syndicate in Saturday’s $21 Million Superdraw.

“We’ve sold a few division one winning entries over the years however it’s been more than twelve months since the last one so we thought we were overdue for another,” Ms Hare said.

“Most of the winners are our regular customers so we’re really delighted for them. One of the excited winners even came in and said they were going to buy us a bunch of flowers!”

Shares in the winning syndicate were sold at Edge Hill Newsagency, 139 Collins Avenue in Edge Hill and Yungaburra Foodmarket and News, 19 Eacham Road in Yungaburra.

Division one winning ticket sold online

A ticket purchased online via has turned one Saturday Gold Lotto player into a millionaire after scoring them a share in division one in the weekend’s $21 Million Superdraw.

The winner, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, was contacted by a Golden Casket official and informed that their 18-game Saturday Gold Lotto entry had won a first division share worth $1,235,294.12.
