Tuesday 25 August 2015 - Five Queensland entries in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw each scored a division one share worth $235,440.11.

Four of the first division winning tickets were individual entries purchased in Kallangur, East Brisbane, Pittsworth and Robina, while the other division one prize will be shared by a 12-member store syndicate in Labrador on the Gold Coast.

Kallangur has first division win!

There’s a secret celebration occurring in the Moreton Bay region after a Golden Casket customer scored a division one prize in the weekend’s draw with an entry they purchased in the suburb of Kallangur.

The winner has come forward to Golden Casket to claim their first division prize worth more than $235,000.

Kallangur News sold the division one winning entry and owner Randy Kay said everyone in the community is excited by the win.

“We’re tickled pink! The store has been buzzing and all our customers have been congratulating us on selling the winning entry!” Mr Kay said.

“The division one win was well overdue! We’re hoping that it’s broken the drought and we’ll have more wins coming our way soon!”

The winner has chosen to remain completely anonymous.

The division one winning ticket was sold from Kallangur News, 1406 Anzac Avenue in Kallangur.

Division one win in East Brisbane!

A Golden Casket customer is more than $235,000 richer after an entry they purchased in the suburb of East Brisbane won a first division prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.

The winner has chosen to remain completely anonymous.

The division one winning 24-game QuickPick entry was sold from My News & Lotto, Shop 1, 89 Lytton Road in East Brisbane.

My News & Lotto owner Rob O’Connor was over the moon when he discovered his outlet had sold its first division one winning entry.

“We were pretty excited when we found out!” Mr O’Connor said.

“We’re now hoping we won’t have to wait long before we sell another division one winning entry! Who knows the next could be in the upcoming Saturday Gold Lotto $21 Million Superdraw on 5 September!”

Division one win in Pittsworth

A 12-game QuickPick entry purchased in the Darling Downs town of Pittsworth has scored a first division share in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw worth more than $235,000.

The winner, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, was registered so a Golden Casket official was able to contact them with the exciting news of their first division win.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pittsworth Newsagency and manager Debbie Markey said it’s the second division one win for the outlet.

“It’s been about 10 years since we had the other big win so we’ve been waiting a little while for this one!” Ms Markey exclaimed.

“We’re just so pleased to know that one of our customers has won first division and is now celebrating being more than $235,000 richer!

“It’s also great news for the community and the win has been the topic of conversation around town since news got out!”

The winning entry was sold at Pittsworth Newsagency, 57 Yandilla Street in Pittsworth.

$235,000 first division winning ticket from Robina

A ticket purchased in the Gold Coast suburb of Robina has made one Saturday Gold Lotto player more than $235,000 richer after their entry won first division in the weekend’s draw!

The overjoyed winner, who has chosen to remain completely anonymous, has come forward and claimed their prize.

Carol Annable is the manager of newsXpress Easy T and said everyone’s really happy that the outlet has sold a division one winning entry.

“We’ve sold several division two and Instant Scratch-Its prizes since the store opened three years ago but this is the first division one prize!” Ms Annable said.

“Our customers have been quite excited when we’ve told them that we had a winner on the weekend!”

The winning Saturday Gold Lotto 12-game marked entry was purchased from newsXpress Easy T, Shop 9, 510 – 514 Christine Avenue in Robina.

Parkwood syndicate shares division one prize

The Gold Coast suburb of Labrador is celebrating after a 12-share store syndicate won a division one prize worth more than $235,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw!

In addition to the first division win, the syndicate of players also won other divisional prizes, making the total prize worth $283,135.31 or $23,594.61 per share.

Melanie Palmer is the owner of Parkwood Plaza News which set up the winning syndicate in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw.

“It’s pretty cool!” Ms Palmer exclaimed.

“We’ve had quite a few very excited customers in here already – they just couldn’t believe it!

“This is a regular syndicate that has been running for more years than I can remember. We’re just so happy for all of our customers who share this division one prize!”

The winning System 9 marked store syndicate was set up by Parkwood Plaza News, Shop 8, 129 Olsen Avenue in Labrador.

Throughout Australia, there were 18 entries that each won a division one share worth $235,440.11 in Saturday Gold Lotto on Saturday 22 August. Apart from the five winning entries sold in Queensland, there were three from New South Wales, six from Victoria, one each in Tasmania and South Australia, and two were sold in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3557 on Saturday 22 August were 27, 30, 13, 18, 4 and 36. The supplementary numbers were 5 and 32.
