Monday 17 August 2015 - There’s a handful of Victorians who woke with an extra reason to smile this week, with five division one winning TattsLotto entries sold in the State, with each winner set to collect a $240,226.75 prize!

The winning tickets were purchased in Kilsyth, Ouyen, Ormond, Carlton and Altona East.

Tatts is encouraging all Victorian TattsLotto players to check their tickets as soon as possible because there is still one prize from the weekend draw on Saturday 15 August that is yet to be claimed!

Kilsyth man’s impulse TattsLotto purchase pays off!

A Kilsyth man in his late 20’s acted on an impulse to buy his TattsLotto entry, and was stunned when his ticket won division one!

“I don’t know why, but on the day I bought my ticket I just had this feeling and so I asked the newsagency for a 50-game QuickPick,” the winning man exclaimed.

“I’m not a regular TattsLotto player, and I’ve only ever had small wins.

“I put the ticket between the pages of a book for safe keeping. I haven’t even had breakfast or left the house because I’m too excited!

“With the windfall I’m going to wipe my old debts and get a fresh start!

“There’s plenty of opportunities now, but I think first I’ll buy some land and really set up life for my family.”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning TattsLotto ticket from Kilsyth Authorised Newsagency, Shop 4-5, 520 – 528 Mt Dandenong Road in Kilsyth.

Geoffrey Denelzen is the owner of Kilsyth Authorised Newsagency and said he was very excited when the winner came back into his outlet to check his ticket.

“I think some of my staff were far more excited than the winner was himself!” Mr Denelzen said.

“We are just so thrilled for the winner and wish him all the best with his TattsLotto windfall.”

Ouyen couple get a little luxury in old age!

A retired couple from the town of Ouyen, in the rural city of Mildura, were blown away when they realised their 12-game marked TattsLotto entry had won division one!

“I beg your pardon! Oh I can’t believe it! I’m just dumbstruck!” the amazed woman exclaimed.

“I never ever dreamt I would win division one in TattsLotto, we’ve been playing the same numbers for donkey’s years!

“This will mean we can alter our lifestyles a little bit, for a bit of extra comfort and luxury in our old age.

“Jeepers! I hope I don’t die of shock before I can collect the prize!” she laughed.

The couple, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning 12-game marked entry from Ouyen Authorised Newsagency, 31 Oke Street in Ouyen.

TattsLotto nest egg for Ormond man

A man from the Melbourne suburb of Ormond, who wishes to remain anonymous, recognised his favourite TattsLotto numbers right away when he checked the TattsLotto results and realised he’d won division one.

“Winners really are grinners!” the winning man exclaimed.

“I checked the TattsLotto results and thought ‘wait a minute they are our birthdays and other special numbers that I play!’ My wife thinks I’m nuts for remembering all the numbers off by heart!

“I’ve already got the money spent in my mind! I’m going to buy an investment property in the area as a little nest egg for the family! I’ll rent it out to university students, until we are ready to settle down in it ourselves.”

The winning System 8 marked entry was purchased from East Bentleigh Tatts & News, 761 Centre Road in Bentleigh East.

Ascot Vale man finally gets his good luck!

A man in his 60’s from Ascot Vale was surprised to discover that his regular TattsLotto entry had won a division one prize.

“I checked my ticket at the newsagency and up popped ‘Congratulations you’re a winner!’, so it was very exciting!” the man exclaimed.

“I’m a regular player so the wonderful staff at Lygon Lucky Lotto are always wishing me ‘good luck, good luck, good luck’ and finally I’ve had some really good luck! I feel very, very lucky.”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his marked 13-game TattsLotto entry from Lygon Lucky Lotto, 260 Lygon Street in Carlton.

Mystery winner from Altona East!

An unregistered division one winning ticket that was purchased in Altona East, a western suburb of Melbourne, is yet to be claimed!

The ticket was purchased from Circle News & Lotto, 63 The Circle in Altona East.

Tatts is encouraging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto entry in the weekend’s draw from Altona East to check their tickets today as they could be the $240,226.75 division one winner.

Across Australia, there were 17 entries that each won a division one share worth $240,226.75 of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 15 August. Along with the five winning entries sold in Victoria, there were four winning tickets purchased in New South Wales, four in Queensland, one in South Australia, one in Tasmania and two in Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3555 on Saturday 15 August, 2015 were 36, 23, 12, 6, 28 and 26. The supplementary numbers were 43 and 27.
