Darwin man's TattsLotto dreams come true with $1.4 million win!

Monday 27 July 2015 - The Northern Territory has racked up its fourth lotto millionaire so far this year, after a Darwin man scored a division one prize worth $1.4 million in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

In January, a Darwin man became the Northern Territory’s first lotto millionaire for 2015 after he won $10 million in Oz Lotto with an entry his purchased in Parap, followed by a Darwin family who won $2.1 million in TattsLotto in February, and a $1 million Monday & Wednesday Lotto prize was sold in Palmerston in May.

The latest first division winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was blown away when he was contacted by a Tatts official with the good news that he was the state’s newest millionaire.

“My word! You don’t know how many times I’ve dreamt about what I’d do with that amount of cash!” the man exclaimed.

“Wow that’s incredible! I’ve been playing those numbers for about 40 years. They say stick to the same numbers and you’ll never be disappointed!

“It’s unbelievable but I think the news that I’m $1.4 million richer is starting to come home to roost now.

“I’ll be sharing my TattsLotto winnings with my family.”

The winning System 7 marked entry was purchased from Darwin Newsagency, 28 Smith Street Mall in Darwin.

Throughout Australia, there were three entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on 25 July 2015, each worth $1,415,048.16. Along with the winning entry purchased in the Northern Territory, there was one sold in Victoria and one from Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3549 on 25 July 2015 were 7, 20, 13, 8, 23 and 32 with the supplementary numbers of 26 and 34.
