High school sweethearts win Saturday X Lotto!

Monday 25 May 2015 - An Adelaide couple have become millionaires after winning a first division share worth $1,021,747.62 in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.

The winning husband was flabergasted when an SA Lotteries official broke the dream-come-true news to him today.

“That’s bloody good! What am I supposed to say? I can hardly think straight!” the emotional winner exclaimed.

When asked by a SA Lotteries official what he plans to do with their X Lotto windfall, he jokingly replied, “I guess I’ll still go to work and annoy everyone! But at the moment, I just can’t wait to tell my wife!”

The winners have chosen to remain anonymous.

The winning 25-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Parabanks Newsagency, Shop 64 in Parabanks Shopping Centre, 60 John Street in Salisbury.

Anthony Antoniadis is the owner of Parabanks Newsagency and said he was thrilled that his store had sold a division one winning ticket.

“I’m so happy that our outlet could help make a dream-come-true for one of our wonderful customers,” Mr Antoniadis said.

“We’re now hoping that we can get on a roll and sell the $30 million winning Oz Lotto entry in Tuesday’s draw!”

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that each won a division one share worth $1,021,747.62 in Saturday X Lotto draw 3531 on Saturday 23 May. Apart from the winning entry purchased in South Australia, there was one winning ticket sold each in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 3531 on Saturday 23 May were 39, 31, 1, 2, 38 and 45. The supplementary numbers were 26 and 34.

SA Lotteries is still searching for two missing winners who are yet to claim their prizes totalling more than $1.28 million from draws earlier this month!

In Saturday X Lotto’s $21 Million Superdraw, an unregistered entry purchased in Adelaide CBD won a first division prize of $1,235,294.12 in draw 3527 on Saturday 9 May.

The ticket was was purchased at Topham Mall Newsagency, Shops 3-5 in Topham Mall, Adelaide.

Four days later, a Keno Spot 8 ticket purchased from the Adelaide suburb of Firle scored $50,000 in draw 1987376 on Wednesday 13 May.

The ticket was purchased at Firle Newsagency, Shop 7 at 193 Glynburn Road in Firle.

SA Lotteries encourages all unregistered Saturday X Lotto and Keno players to check their entries as soon as possible.
