Monday 18 May 2015 - The mystery of who won $2.2 million with an unregistered Keno Spot 10 ticket purchased in the eastern suburb of Magill has been solved after the winner came forward to SA Lotteries today to claim their multi-million dollar prize!

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was unaware they were one of the state’s newest millionaires until they finally checked their Spot 10 entry four days after the Keno draw on Tuesday 12 March.

“I’ll admit, I’ve had sleepless nights ever since I found out I’d won Keno Spot 10!” the stunned man said.

“I think I’ll have to hold off any celebrations till later in the week - once I’ve caught up on my sleep!”

The winning Keno Spot 10 entry in Keno draw 1987179 was purchased from Magill Papershop, Shops 7 and 8 in Magill Shopping Centre, 587 - 591 Magill Road in Magill.

Gail Rost is the owner of Magill Papershop and said since the news of the Keno Spot 10 win got out, the store had been a hive of activity.

“We’ve had lots of customers coming into the store to check their Keno entries and to congratulate us on selling the $2.2 million winning ticket!” Ms Rost exclaimed.

“We’re so happy that our winner has now come forward and we wish them all the best in the future as a new multi-millionare!”
