Heart stopping TattsLotto win in George Town!

Monday 18 May 2015 - A woman who purchased her TattsLotto entry in George Town was floored when she discovered her ticket in the weekend’s draw scored a first division prize worth more than $833,000.

The ecstatic winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, was taken by complete surprise when a Tatts official contacted her this morning to break the dream-come-true news that she’d won first division and other divisional prizes totalling $840,391.17 in Saturday’s draw.

“Oh gee whiz! Just as well I’ve got a good heart! Just give me a minute to pick myself up off the floor!” the winner exclaimed.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers, which are special to my family, for years and years. The family’s been playing them and passing them on for generations!

“Wow I’m really not dreaming because I’ve just pinched myself!” the winner added.

The winning System 7 marked TattsLotto entry was purchased at newsXpress George Town, Shop 1 at 83 Macquarie Street in George Town.

Sue Sherriff is the owner of newsXpress George Town and said that this win marked the outlet’s hat-trick of selling division one winning tickets in six years.

“We are big believers in generating good energy and positivity in our store which is why we have a Buddha on our front counter,” Mrs Sherriff said.

“One of our regular customers gave us lucky beads and a silk wrap from Nepal which we believe brings everyone here good luck.

“We sold a division one winning TattsLotto ticket worth $1.29 million in June last year and we sold another in 2009, so it’s good to see our first division winning record continue for our customers!”

Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 16 May 2015, each worth $833,829.87. In addition to the winning entry purchased in Tasmania, two winning tickets were sold in Queensland and two were from Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3529 on Saturday 16 May 2015 were 10, 30, 26, 15, 45 and 16 with the supplementary numbers of 21 and 12.

There are more chances to win big this week with Oz Lotto jackpotting to a massive $25 million for tomorrow’s draw, and on Thursday Powerball has $30 million up for grabs. Tickets are available now from all Tatts outlets and online from Tatts.com.
