Top End does it again - another Lotto millionaire!

Friday 15 May 2015 - The Northern Territory has scored a hat trick with three Tatts players becoming millionaires this year after winning a division one prize.

The latest winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, has come forward to Tatts to claim their first division prize worth $1 million in this week’s Wednesday Lotto draw.

Jason Barling is the owner of newsXpress Palmerston and said he was over the moon when he discovered his outlet had sold a division one winning ticket in Wednesday’s draw.

“We’re just so thrilled! This is the first million dollar winning ticket we’ve sold!” Mr Barling said.

“It’s actually the second time this year we’ve had a first division win. In March, one of our customers won a division one prize in TattsLotto worth more than $473,000.

“We’re really happy for our winner who is now a millionaire! With Oz Lotto jackpotting to $25 million for next Tuesday’s draw, we’re hoping it will be a case of three times a charm and we can sell another division one winning entry!”

In January, a Darwin man became the Northern Territory’s first lotto millionaire for 2015 after he won $10 million in Oz Lotto with an entry his purchased in Parap, followed by a Darwin family who won $2.1 million in TattsLotto in February.

The winning 18-game Monday & Wednesday Lotto QuickPick entry was purchased from newsXpress Palmerston, Shop 50, 6 – 7 Temple Place in Palmerston.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3451 on Wednesday 13 May 2015 were 25, 38, 32, 12, 5 and 9 with the supplementary numbers of 37 and 28.

Throughout Australia, there were two entries that won a first division prize in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3451 which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw. Along with the winning entry purchased in the Northern Territory, the other winning ticket was sold in New South Wales.
