We have a winner - Coolum's Saturday Gold Lotto prize claimed!

Wednesday 22 April 2015 - The search for Coolum Beach’s missing division one winner is over after a Saturday Gold Lotto player came forward to Golden Casket this morning and claimed their first division prize worth more than $316,000!

The winner, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, admitted that they never thought they’d win division one so only checked their winning entry last night; ten days after the draw on Saturday 11 April!

Golden Casket customers are encouraged to register their entries to a Winners Circle card. Not only does registration ensure your prize is secure, it also ensures you can be contacted directly with news of a division one win.

The winning entry was purchased from Coolum Park News Extra and owner Simon Barrett was over the moon when he discovered his outlet had sold another division one winning ticket.

“It’s been a few years since we sold the last division one winning entry so we were long overdue for this one!” Mr Barrett said.

“With Saturday Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Superdraw just around the corner, we’re hoping we don’t have to wait long to sell another first division prize!”

The winning unregistered 18-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Coolum Park News Extra, Shop 8, 21 South Coolum Road in Coolum Beach.

Throughout Australia, there were thirteen entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 11 April, each worth $316,393.49.
