We have a winner! Richmond's $20 million Oz Lotto prize claimed!

Friday 17 April 2015 - The mystery of who won a staggering $20 million in this week’s Oz Lotto draw with an unregistered ticket purchased in the Melbourne suburb of Richmond has been solved!

A Melbourne man in his 30s, who wishes to remain anonymous, was shocked to discover that his last minute entry in this week’s Oz Lotto draw won a first division share worth $20 million.

“I had a bit of a freak out when I realised I’d won!” the overwhelmed winner exclaimed.

“I didn’t know that Tatts was searching for a missing Oz Lotto winner! I’m still trying to register the fact that I’ve just won $20 million!

“It's funny because I didn’t even go into the newsagency that day to buy an Oz Lotto ticket! I was actually in there checking my TattsLotto tickets and the staff member asked me if I’d like an entry in the Oz Lotto jackpot draw!

“I’m still in shock but I know I want to set up family first. I do love to travel so I think I’ll be doing more of that too!”

The unregistered winning 18-game QuickPick was purchased from Card ‘n’ All, 458 Church Street in Richmond.

Tatts players are encouraged to register their entries to a Tatts Card because not only does this ensure their prize is secure, it also means they can be contacted directly with the news of a division one win.

Throughout Australia, there were two entries that won a first division share of Oz Lotto’s $40 million jackpot draw on Tuesday 14 April, each worth $20 million. Along with the winning entry purchased in Richmond, the other winning ticket was sold in Mittagong, New South Wales.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1104 on 14 April 2015 were 33, 24, 2, 42, 45, 12, and 3. The supplementary numbers were 19 and 6.
