It’s second versus second-last in the EPL on Sunday morning as Arsenal travel north to take on Burnley at Turf Moor.

Despite a strong performance in the 2014-15 EPL campaign, it seems as though the drought for top flight glory is set to continue for Arsenal. While they haven’t missed out on a top 4 finish in the past two decades, the Gunners haven’t finished on top since Thierry Henry and co dominated the league back in 2004. A win at Burnley on Sunday would just about seal a UCL qualifying spot while giving them a buffer in second over the two Manchester clubs, who are due to face-off on Monday morning. After notching a pair of assists in last weekend’s 4-1 win over Liverpool, Aaron Ramsey is in doubt to feature with an ankle injury. Also uncertainties for the Londoners leading into the weekend are Wojciech Szczesny (rib) and Laurent Koscielny (thigh).

With just seven matches remaining of the EPL season, things are getting desperate for 19th placed Burnley. Sean Dyche’s men have had a hard time stringing wins together over the past couple of months, but with their past seven matches coming against teams currently occupying spots in the Top 8, they were always expected to struggle. Claiming three points this weekend could be enough to lift them out of the relegation zone, and Clarets fans will be hoping Danny Ings can rediscover his mid-season form in front of goal. The young striker has failed to score in Burnley’s past six league matches, although his league goal tally currently stands at nine this campaign.

Arsenal won 3-0 when these sides met earlier this season, and they’re expected to dominate again on Sunday. Alexis Sanchez scored a brace in that Round 10 match, and he could be value at in the first goal scorer market.
