TattsLotto winner catches the big one!

A keen fisherman from the northern suburbs of Melbourne has hooked the big one after his TattsLotto entry won a first division prize worth $1,615,384.62 in the weekend’s $21 Million Superdraw!

The regular player confessed he was in a state of shock and disbelief when he was told he was more than $1.6 million richer.

“This is just incredible! I didn’t ever think I’d win this much,” he said.

“I’ll have to put some champagne in the fridge because tonight I’m going to celebrate by popping the cork and enjoying a few bubbles.

“I’ve got some renovations to do around the house and with this win I’ll be able to afford to pay someone to do them rather than tinker around and try and do them myself. I might even think about buying myself a fishing boat!”

The winning 12-game QuickPick was purchased from Sunbury Square Lotto, on the corner of Macedon and Evans Streets in Sunbury.

“You wouldn’t dream of it but it was that ticket that won me my prize – I couldn’t believe it!”

“I just kept checking my ticket thinking that surely I had made a mistake.

“Firstly I’m going to celebrate with friends over a cup of tea at the tennis club and then I’m going to ensure I invest my winnings wisely.”

The winning 36-game QuickPick was purchased from Oakleigh Central Lotto, Kiosk 4, Oakleigh Central Shopping Centre on Hannover Street, Oakleigh.
