Monday Lotto winner still manages to sleep soundly after winning $1 million!

Tuesday 31 March 2015 - A grandmother from Victoria has awoken this morning in raptures after realising that she has won the first division prize of $1,000,000 in last night’s Monday Lotto draw!

The winning grandmother, who was proving to be very popular with her daughter and grandchildren this morning, remarked that she slept soundly last night, even after thinking that the numbers broadcasted by her local radio station seemed familiar to her!

“This is just surreal – it is like an out-of-body experience hearing this news!” the winner exclaimed.

“I waited until 11pm last night to hear the winning numbers on the radio but even then, I rolled over to fall asleep and thought I’d check my ticket in the morning.

“As a single mother for the past 40 years, I never thought that I’d be able to scream out that I’m a millionaire. But today, I am a millionaire!”

The emotional grandmother couldn’t believe that her $1 million windfall had come at such an opportune time.

“I have moved from my home to take care of my siblings and my children, who are stricken by some terrible illnesses. I am so fortunate to have my family and I now have that security to ensure that I can continue to care for them.”

The winning 10 game marked entry was purchased from Chelsea Newsagency at 403 Nepean Highway in Chelsea.

The winning numbers in Monday Lotto draw 3438 on 30 Match 2015 were 32, 19, 33, 39, 45 and 17. The supplementary numbers were 23 and 15.

There are more chances to win big this week with $30 million up for grabs in Thursday night’s Powerball draw! Tickets are available now from all Golden Casket outlets or online from Tatts.com.
