$1.6 million Superdraw prize won in Marsden!

Tuesday 31 March 2015 - There is a secret celebration happening on the southside of Brisbane after a Saturday Gold Lotto winner who purchased their ticket in Marsden contacted Golden Casket today to claim their $1.6 million division one prize from the weekend’s $21 million Superdraw.

The winner, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, scored first division and other divisional prizes totalling $1,628,838.72.

Sheryl Norman from Marsden Newspower, the outlet that sold the winning entry, said she was very excited to know that the store had sold another division one winning ticket to one of their customers.

“It’s been a few years since we sold the last division one winning ticket. We’ve been saying to our customers that we’ve got to have a big win soon because we were long overdue for one!” Sheryl said.

“We’re very happy for the winner and wish them all the luck for the future.

“With Powerball jackpotting to $30 million on Thursday, we’re now hoping to sell another division one winning ticket so we can have two in less than a week!”

The winning System 8 marked entry was purchased at Marsden Newspower, Shop 16 in Marsden Park Shopping Centre, 55 – 77 Chambers Flat Road in Marsden.

Throughout Australia, there were 13 winners that each won a division one share worth $1,615,384.62 in Gold Lotto’s $21 Million Superdraw on Saturday 28 March. Apart from the three winning entries sold in Queensland, there were three from Victoria, three from Western Australia, two from South Australia, and one each from New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
