'Fiver' Nets Close To $6K

Turning $5 into close to $6K!

Obviously looking forward to an afternoon of footy and cricket, 'Customer X' invested $5 on a five-leg multi to add a little extra interest to his viewing.

First up, there was a bet which rode for much of the day, with our mystery punter backing Pakistan H2H against Ireland in the World Cup at $1.28.

The the focus was also on the clash of the last two NRL premiers Souths and the Roosters. 'Customer X' opted to take the Rabbitohs 1-12 at $3 and Dylan Walker as first try-scorer at $11.

The final two legs centred on the Raiders/Warriors match. In this game, our 'multi maestro' selected the Warriors to win by 1-12 ($3.15) and 'the beast', Manu Vatuvei ($9), to score the opening try.

As history shows, all five results fell the punter's way and the $5 investment for a bit of extra interest turned into a $5,987.52 windfall.
