'Marvellous' TattsLotto prize for Tasmanian winner!

Monday 9 February 2015 - A woman from the Kingston area said she was looking forward to surprising her family with the big news that she’d won a first division share in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw!

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, only discovered she’d won a first division prize worth $608,243.80 when a Tatts official contacted her this morning.

“Oh that’s marvellous! I can’t quite believe it. I need to write that amount down!” the overwhelmed winner exclaimed when learning of her windfall.

“I’ve played TattsLotto for years and I think the biggest win I’ve ever had was about $60. This is a lot more than that!

“I’m really looking forward to surprising my family with the news of my TattsLotto first division win.

“I’m not too sure what I’ll use my prize money for – I’ll have to think about it. It will make a huge difference though.”

The winner purchased her division one winning TattsLotto 18-game QuickPick entry from Kingston Town Lotto, Shop 22 in Kingston Town Shopping Centre, Maranoa Road in Kingston.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3501 on Saturday 7 February 2015 were 33, 30, 9, 19, 41 and 44 with the supplementary numbers of 35 and 36.

Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 7 February, each worth $608,243.80. Along with the winning entry purchased in Tasmania, there were two winning tickets sold in Victoria, one each in Queensland and New South Wales, and two were from Western Australia.
