$2.2 million TattsLotto surprise for Victorian couple!

Wednesday 25 February 2015 - A Victorian couple who purchased their TattsLotto $20 Million Valentine’s Day Superdraw ticket in the city of Hamilton were shocked to discover that they’d been multi-millionaires for ten days!

“Oh shivers! I’m shaking all over at the moment!” the emotional winning wife exclaimed.

“I’d heard about a first division win but never thought that I was the winner! However, I have had a funny feeling over the last week!”

The woman only discovered late yesterday afternoon that she was the registered player Tatts had been trying to get in contact with for more than one week after winning a division one share worth $2,222,222.23 in the Valentine’s Day Superdraw on Saturday 14 February.

“I love her lots! Anything she wants now, she can get!” the winning husband jokingly added.

The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, said they’ll pay off their debts before considering carefully what they’ll do with the rest of their TattsLotto prize money.

The 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Slade’s Hamilton Newsagency and Lotto, 150 Gray Street in Hamilton.

Across Australia, there were nine winners that won a division one share worth $2,222,222.23 in TattsLotto’s $20 Million Valentine’s Day Superdraw on 14 February. Apart from the two winning entries sold in Victoria, there was one winning ticket from Queensland, and two each in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto’s $20 Million Superdraw 3503 on 14 February 2015 were 42, 22, 35, 16, 37 and 24. The supplementary numbers were 36 and 29.

There are more chances to win big this week with $15 million up for grabs in tomorrow’s Powerball draw. Tickets are available now at any Tatts outlet or online via Tatts.com.
