Last year’s champion Sylvain Guintoli will look to start his 2015 campaign with a victory at Phillip Island on Sunday.

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind; this race will be as tight as they come. With a field that includes Jonathan Rea , Tom Sykes and Alex Lowes , Superbike fans are sure to get their money’s worth in Victoria. Sykes was Guintoli’s closest rival last year, finishing just ten points shy of the Frenchman, and in turn failing to secure his second straight Superbike World Championship . But after some strong testing this week, Sykes looks set stand atop the winner’s podium at Phillip Island for the first time in his seven-year career.

The inclusion of three-time Superbike Champions Troy Bayliss will have everyone glued to their seats when he lines up against a star-studded field.  It has be a long time between drinks for Bayliss, given he retired from the sport in 2008, but he looks primed to turn back to clock. He is also the best priced Aussie in the field, with Melbourne kid Jed Metcher still finding his feet..

There are only three riders in this field who have won this event; Bayliss, Guintoli and Englishman Leon Haslam . But with Guintoli finishing on top last year, TattsBet customers are sure to favour the Frenchman to at least Top 3 .
