Wagga Wagga's missing $2.2 million Superdraw winner found!

Thursday 19 February 2015 - A woman from Wagga Wagga was lost for words when she discovered that she’s now a multi-millionaire after her entry in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto $20 Million Valentine’s Day Superdraw won a share in division one.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, only checked her entry late yesterday afternoon and contacted NSW Lotteries immediately for confirmation that she’d won a first division prize of $2,222,222.23.

“I’d heard on the grapevine that there was a missing Superdraw winner in Wagga Wagga but I never dreamed it was me!” the winner exclaimed.

“Wow! It’s fair to say that I’m completely overwhelmed at the moment! I’ll get rid of the mortgage for a start and then I’ll go from there.”

The unregistered winning 24-game Saturday Lotto QuickPick entry was purchased from Hunters Newsagency, 68 Fitzmaurice Street in Wagga Wagga.

This is the second division one winning ticket sold at Hunters Newsagency this year. Last month, a $2.7 million first division winning ticket in the Saturday Lotto Megadraw on Saturday 3 January was purchased at the same outlet.

Across Australia, there were nine winners that won a division one share worth $2,222,222.23 in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Valentine’s Day Superdraw. There were two winning entries sold in New South Wales, one was from Queensland, and two each in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto’s $20 Million Superdraw 3503 on 14 February 2015 were 42, 22, 35, 16, 37 and 24. The supplementary numbers were 36 and 29. ENDS
