$1 million Wednesday Lotto prize leaves winner speechless!

Thursday 19 February 2015 - A retired couple from Horsley had a hard time believing that they’d become millionaires overnight after winning a first division prize of $1 million in last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw!

The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, were overwhelmed when a NSW Lotteries official contacted them this morning to deliver the dream-come-true news that they’d won first division and other divisional prizes totalling $1,002,760.30.

“You’re kidding me? I’ve suddenly gone all numb! I’m so glad I’m sitting down!” the flabbergasted husband declared.

“You actually mean we’ve won $1 million! I’m speechless and people will tell you that I’m very seldom speechless!

“It’s so unbelievable that I can’t say exactly what we’ll do with our prize money! I know that we’d like to go on a holiday and a few people will be spoilt rotten!”

When asked how it feels to be a millionaire, the winning wife quickly joked, “It’s a step up from being a pensioner!”

The winning System 7 marked entry was purchased from Dapto Newsagency, 17 Bong Bong Road in Dapto.

There were two winning entries that won a first division prize in Wednesday Lotto draw 3427, which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw. Along with the winning entry from Dapto, the other winning ticket was sold in the Sydney suburb of Kingsgrove.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto draw 3427 on Wednesday 18 February 2015 were 18, 37, 10, 8, 7 and 42, with the supplementary numbers 15 and 31.

Missing Lotto Strike winner

Lotto Strike players from the New South Wales Central Coast region are advised to check their tickets as soon as possible as there is a mystery winner in their midst.

As the winning ticket from the Lotto Strike draw 3987 on Saturday 7 February 2015 was not registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner with the news of their $530,454.30 division one win.

Lotto Strike players who purchased an unregistered ticket from Charmhaven Newsagency, Shop 15 in Northlakes Shopping Village in San Remo are encouraged to check their entries as soon as possible.
