Paris Saint-Germain  might have the home ground advantage against Chelsea  in the UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday morning (AEST), but the local side is in the midst of an injury crisis.

Following a 2-2 draw with Caen on the weekend, PSG's injury toll is set to soar. While Javier Pastore was expected to miss out due to a nagging thigh strain, Lucas Moura, Yohan Cabaye, Marquinhos and Serge Aurier are now on the treatment table and in serious doubt. It means the dangerous Ezequiel Lavezzi will get a chance. The Argentine is particularly lethal early when defences haven't settled properly. Lavezzi's main job will be to feed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a powerful striker who demands the ball.

But Chelsea have their own 'not so secret' midfield weapon in Eden Hazard, who recently signed a long term contract extension with the Blues. The Belgian has been involved in 20 goals this season - finding the net 13 times and assisting on seven other ocassions. His combination with Diego Costa is a real highlight for the EPL giants.

Eleven months ago, the Blues lost 3-1 to PSG at this very venue, but the away goal, a late Hazard penalty, proved vital when they beat the Paris-based side 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in the return leg. Still, turning the clock forward, the locals haven't been beaten in 16 home matches this season and Jose Mourinho's men will need to find some magic to crack them.
