Group 1 racing returns for the first time in 2015 with the running of the $400,000 CF Orr Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

And Autumn big guns like Dissident , the highest rated runner in the field, will be in action. A four-year-old trained by Peter Moody, Dissident has the right kind of stats heading into this WFA contest. Second up, the son of Sebring has never missed the place, with two wins, a second and a third from four goes. It's the same over the 1400m trip - four starts for two wins and two seconds. But wait there's more! From seven outings at Caulfield, this classy entire has recorded two wins, a second and a third, including a win and a place from two goes over the track and distance.

While that's impressive, so too is the quality of the field. Amongst his opposition is Happy Trails , who is resuming after winning the Group 1 McKinnon Stakes (2000m) in the spring, Mourinho (his last start-conquerer, who was well-supported at long odds), Sandown Guineas winner Petrology , who is also having his second run this campaign, and recent Perth Cup (2400m) winner Real Love .

Queensland Derby winner Sonntag is also there, along with Team Hawkes representative Entirely Platinum , who is a really good horse fresh, the talented Star Rolling , which won at this track and distance first up last preparation and promising three-year-old Java , who has won four on the trot.
