Saturday Gold Lotto division one win in West End!

Tuesday 10 February 2015 - A Saturday Gold Lotto player is more than $608,000 richer after the Saturday Gold Lotto entry they purchased in the Brisbane suburb of West End won a division one share in the weekend’s draw!

The winner, who wishes to remain completely anonymous, has come forward to Golden Casket to claim their division one prize worth $608,243.80.

John Rodrigues is the owner of West Side Story Newsagency, the outlet that sold the winning entry, and said he was excited to know that his newsagency had sold a division one winning ticket.

“We’re so happy! As soon as I found out that we’d sold a winning entry in Saturday Gold Lotto, I rang my wife and my son to tell them the good news!” Mr Rodrigues said excitedly.

“It’s been a long time between division one wins for our outlet. Now when my customers ask when was the last time I sold a first division winning ticket, I’ll be able to say to them that it was this year!

“With the Saturday Gold Lotto $20 Million Valentine’s Day Superdraw on this weekend, we’re now hoping for back-to-back division one wins!”

The winning 18-game QuickPick Saturday Gold Lotto entry was purchased from West Side Story Newsagency, 85 Boundary Street in West End.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3501 on Saturday 7 February 2015 were 33, 30, 9, 19, 41 and 44 with the supplementary numbers of 35 and 36.

Throughout Australia, there were seven entries that won a first division share of Saturday Gold Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 7 February, each worth $608,243.80. Along with the winning entry from Queensland, there were two winning tickets sold in Victoria, one each in Tasmania and New South Wales, and two were from Western Australia.
