Sleepless in southern Sydney after Saturday Lotto win!

Tuesday 8 December 2015 - A battler from Sydney’s southern suburbs admitted he had a tough time getting any sleep after discovering his entry in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw had scored a first division prize worth more than $664,000!

The happy winner told a NSW Lotteries official he was overwhelmed when he realised that his Lotto numbers had come up in Saturday’s draw.

“I was watching television on Saturday night when I decided to check my Saturday Lotto entry,” the winner explained.

“I logged on to the internet to look up the results and I just couldn’t believe it when I saw that I had all six winning numbers on my ticket!

“I can honestly say that I didn’t get much sleep on Saturday night - everything was racing through my mind!

“I’m going be cautious and plan what I do with my windfall. It will take the pressure off though and I’ll be able to take my daughter on a holiday and maybe even upgrade my home.”

The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

The 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Rockdale Plaza Newsagency, Shop 44 in Rockdale Plaza in Rockdale.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 5 December, each worth $664,754.87. In addition to the division one winning entry from Rockdale, there was another division one winning entry sold in New South Wales, and one each in Queensland, Victoria, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3587 on Saturday 5 December 2015 were 15, 42, 40, 32, 18 and 28 with the supplementary numbers of 14 and 7.
