Christmas bonus for St Helena's division one winner!

Monday 7 December 2015 - While most people have only just begun the countdown, Christmas has come early for a Melbourne man from the northern suburbs after he scored a division one prize in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The winner in his 70s was unaware he’d won a first division share worth more than $664,000 until a Tatts Official contacted him with the exciting news this morning.

“I’ve won that much! Thank you!” the winner exclaimed.

“I’m nearly falling off my seat at the moment – that’s so fantastic! I can’t wait to call my wife and tell her that I’ve won first division!

“I’ve been playing my regular numbers for almost 30 years! They’re special numbers to me because they include family birthdates!

“I really don’t know what I’ll do with my prize money. I know that I won’t give up working though - I don’t want to sit in an armchair and get old,” the winner jokingly added.

The winning 15-game marked entry was purchased at Aqueduct News and Lotto, Shop 11 in St Helena Market Place, 214 Aqueduct Road in St Helena.

Aqueduct News and Lotto owner Frank Ispanovic was overjoyed to discover his outlet had sold a division one winning TattsLotto ticket.

“What a wonderful Christmas bonus for our customer,” Mr Ispanovic said.

“We wish them all the best for their future and hope they enjoy celebrating their win with their family and friends.”

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 5 December, each worth $664,754.87. In addition to the division one winning entry from St Helena, there were two division one winning entries sold in New South Wales, and one each in Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3587 on Saturday 5 December 2015 were 15, 42, 40, 32, 18 and 28 with the supplementary numbers of 14 and 7.
