Would you keep working if you won $50 MILLION in Powerball tonight?

Thursday 5 November 2015 - After five weeks of jackpotting the Powerball division one prize pool has reached an out-of-this-world $50 million for tonight’s draw.

Tatts Lotteries spokesperson Elissa Lewis said this is the equal largest Powerball jackpot on offer to players this year and it is the third time a $50 million division one prize pool has been on offer in Powerball in 2015.

“Research recently released by Tatts Lotteries, that surveyed almost 4000 people across Tatts Lotteries jurisdictions, revealed that an amazing 52.1 per cent of the working population said they would keep working if they won $50 million with only 27.8 per cent reporting they would resign,” Ms Lewis reported.

“Although not everyone wanted to give up work for good if they won a sizeable lottery prize, the consensus was that the win could help make everyday life a lot more comfortable, with 10.7 per cent instead opting to reduce their work hours and the remaining 9.3 per cent making a career change.

“With $50 million on offer customers have been lining up to purchase an entry and think about whether they would quit their job if they shared in tonight’s Powerball draw!

“If one winner scoops the entire $50 million, just imagine what they would do and how their life would change!

“Whatever the dream, the best advice for customers is to get in early to purchase their entries to avoid any queues and to register their Powerball entries to a player’s card. Not only does registration ensure your prize is secure, it also ensures you receive that life-changing phone call with the amazing news of a first division win!” Ms Lewis added.

The staggering $50 million Powerball jackpot draw will take place on Thursday, 5 November, 2015.

Tickets into Powerball’s $50 million draw are available now in-store and online from Tatts.com.
