ACT's Monday Lotto millionaire busts a move!

Tuesday 24 November 2015 - A Canberra man said he danced the night away after discovering he’d won a $1 million division one prize in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The exuberant winner was still on cloud nine despite a lack of sleep when a NSW Lotteries official contacted him this morning.

“I’m pretty excited!” the excited winner declared.

“I was dancing to the music of The Smiths at two o’clock this morning celebrating my win! My cat was looking at me as though to say what are you doing!

“My mum purchases my lotto entries for me each week when she’s out shopping. After the draw last night she checked my ticket for me and called at about 9:30 to tell me I’d won!

“This is fantastic - I feel more relaxed today! This windfall won’t change me - I still hung out the washing this morning and I’ll be going to work but I’ll have a huge smile on my face!

“I’ll use my division one prize money to pay off my mortgage and I want to help my family as well - including my mum.”

The division one winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at Charnwood Newsagency, Shop 4 in Fadco Building, Charnwood Shopping Centre, Charnwood Place in Charnwood.

It was the only entry that won a first division prize in Monday Lotto which offers a guaranteed division one prize of $1 million for up to four winners in each draw.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3506 on Monday 23 November 2015 were 37, 17, 4, 29, 21 and 20 with the supplementary numbers of 34 and 38.

There are more chances to win big this week with $5 million up for grabs in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw and Powerball has jackpotted to $6 million for Thursday. Entries can be purchased at any NSW Lotteries outlet or online via
