Friends share $1 million Saturday Lotto division one prize!

Friday 9 October 2015 - A trio of friends from Taree have one million reasons to celebrate after discovering their shared entry in last weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw scored a first division prize worth more than $1 million!

The winners, who wish to remain anonymous, only discovered they’d won first division and other divisional prizes totalling $1,028,867.05 when they finally checked their entry today.

“I virtually collapsed when the newsagency staff member told me we’d won! I really thought she was pulling my leg!” the syndicate leader exclaimed.

“We’re all still in shock! We’re sitting around at the moment staring at each other like stunned mullets!

“I’m not too sure what I’ll do with my share of the prize money. It’s a bit too early to say – I’ll let it sink in before I make any decisions.”

The winning 18-game Saturday Lotto entry was purchased at Taree Marketplace News, Shop 36a in Taree Central, 60 Manning Street in Taree.

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that won a first division share of Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 3 October, each worth $1,028,850.70. Apart from the division one winning entry from New South Wales, there was one winning ticket from Queensland and two were purchased in Victoria.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3569 on Saturday 3 October 2015 were 21, 3, 22, 7, 6 and 43 with the supplementary numbers of 39 and 14.

Superdraw prize from Edgeworth still unclaimed!

For more than one month, a Saturday Lotto player who purchased a division one winning ticket in Saturday Lotto’s $21 Million Superdraw on Saturday 5 September has remained a mystery!

The first division prize worth $750,000 was won with a Saturday Lotto ticket purchased in the Newcastle suburb of Edgeworth from Edgeworth Newsextra, Shop 9, 720 Main Road.
