Tatts wants to say 'hi' to Highton millionaire!

Thursday 8 October 2015 - A division one prize worth more than $1 million was won in the Geelong suburb of Highton in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, but the winner may be totally unaware of their good fortune.

Tatts spokesperson Claire Taylor said five days has passed since the TattsLotto draw 3569 on Saturday 3 October, and Tatts is eager to speak with the registered winner as soon as possible.

“The division one winning TattsLotto entry purchased from Highton Lotto was registered to a Tatts Card but so far we’ve been unable to contact the winner to share the dream-come-true news that they’ve become one of the newest members of the Tatts’ Millionaires Club!” Ms Taylor said.

“We encourage all TattsLotto players who purchased a registered entry in Highton in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw to check their ticket today because they may have more than $1 million sitting in their pocket or wallet!

“In the meantime, we’ll endeavour to contact the registered winner to break the great news that they’re now a millionaire!”

The division one winning TattsLotto ticket was purchased from Highton Lotto at 12 Bellevue Arcade.

Peter and Lisa Bowman are the owners of Highton Lotto and said they were thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry to one of their customers.

“It’s our outlet’s first division one win, so my wife called me first thing on Sunday morning to let me know!” Mr Bowman said.

“There’s been a real buzz since then because you never know if the next person who checks their ticket will be our division one winner!

“I think there’s a chance that the winner could be someone who’s gone on holiday for the long weekend, which could be why they haven’t yet realised that they’ve won!”

Throughout Australia, there were four entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 3 October, each worth $1,028,850.70. Along with the winning entry from Highton, another Victorian entry won a division one prize, and one winning ticket each was sold in Queensland and New South Wales.

A retired man from Healesville was the holder of the other registered division one winning entry from Victoria and received the dream-come-true phone call from a Tatts official on Tuesday morning!

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3569 on Saturday 3 October, 2015 were 21, 3, 22, 7, 6 and 43. The supplementary numbers were 39 and 14.
