Middleton man's forgotten X Lotto entry wins division one!

Wednesday 28 October 2015 - A young man from Middleton was shocked to discover that his online entry in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw had won a division one prize worth more than $666,000!

The stunned player said he never in his wildest dreams would have guessed he’d scored a first division share on Saturday night.

“You’re joking! Holy shiz! Oops – sorry!” the winner blerted out in excitement.

“I always purchase my entries online but I’d actually completely forgotten I even had an entry in the weekend’s draw – I’d just written it off! I guess that’s the luck of the draw!

“I’ll put it in my bank account to begin with and I’ll try and be as smart as possible with how I spend it.

“I’m working towards my education and getting qualified at the moment, so this will cover those costs and then some!

“My mum and dad have got me this far in life so they’ll be getting some good return-on-investment, and I guess I’ll get my siblings something nice too!” he laughed.

The winning 36-game Saturday X Lotto entry was purchased online via Tatts.com. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of Saturday X Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 24 October, each worth $666,139.21. Along with the division one winning entry from South Australia, there were two division one winning entries each sold in New South Wales and Victoria and one was purchased in Tasmania.

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 3575 on Saturday 24 October 2015 were 1, 29, 15, 40, 18 and 37 with the supplementary numbers of 8 and 30.

There are more chances to win big this week with Powerball jackpotting to an incredible $30 million for Thursday’s draw, and the countdown is on to this weekend’s $20 Million Halloween Superdraw! Wouldn’t it be a scream if you won a share in $20 million? You can purchase an entry from all SA Lotteries outlets or online from Tatts.com.
