Midnight surprise for Saturday Lotto division one winner!

Tuesday 27 October 2015 - Have you ever imagined how you’d react if you won first division in Saturday Lotto?

A woman from Sydney’s western suburbs always thought she’d scream and jump around, so she was quite surprised when she remained ‘cool, calm and collected’ after realising she’d won a first division prize worth more than $666,000 in Saturday Lotto!

“I normally check my Saturday Lotto entry soon after the draw but on Saturday night I didn’t think to check my ticket until around midnight,” the ecstatic winner explained.

“I was half asleep when I started marking off my numbers on my ticket. When I realised I had all six winning numbers, I clutched my winning ticket to my chest and said, ‘Oh my god! Is this for real?’

“I always thought I’d scream and jump around if I won Lotto but I was actually cool, calm and collected! My daughter on the other hand was a blubbering mess when I told her I’d won first division!

“I was so excited – I didn’t get to bed until about 4am! I spent all day Sunday thinking about what I’ll do with my windfall. I’ll firstly pay off my car and then I’d like to buy myself a home!”

The winning 10-game QuickPick was purchased at Lidcombe Newsagency, 19 Joseph Street in Lidcombe.

Throughout Australia, there were six entries that won a first division share of Saturday Lotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 24 October, each worth $666,139.21. There were two division one winning entries from New South Wales, two were purchased in Victoria, and one each in Tasmania and South Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3575 on Saturday 24 October 2015 were 1, 29, 15, 40, 18 and 37 with the supplementary numbers of 8 and 30.
