Grandfather from Bendigo hits the big time!

A Bendigo grandfather was over-the-moon to discover that his entry in the TattsLotto draw on Saturday night had scored him a division one share of more than $570,000!

“I haven’t thought it all over quite yet but this windfall certainly will come in handy!” the man exclaimed.

The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his registered 10-game marked entry from City Central Newsagency at Shop 1, 5 Queen Street in Bendigo.

Terry Clohesy is the owner of City Central Newsagency and said he was thrilled that the division one prize had been won by one of his local customers.

“We have owned this newsagency for 17 years now and we are always hoping with our fingers crossed that one of our customers’ numbers will come up in division one,” Mr Clohesy said.

“It’s not our store’s first division one win but it’s been a long time between drinks so now that it’s here we are making the most of it and spreading the word!

“It’s great to know that it’s gone to a local person and it’ll be a real benefit to him and his family, as well as the community.”

Riches land in Melbourne’s Bourke Street!

“We’re now hoping to add to the tally and sell a big jackpot prize soon, maybe even in the $10 million Oz Lotto draw on Tuesday night.”
