Mount Waverley's TattsLotto windfall won by local man!

Thursday 15 October 2015 - Mount Waverley’s missing division one TattsLotto winner was completely unaware that he’d won a prize worth more than $823,400 until he went back into his local Tatts outlet the following week!

The local man, who wishes to remain anonymous, checked his winning 36-game QuickPick entry at Mt Waverley Lotto and was shocked to discover he’d won first division.

“I checked my ticket as usual each week and I knew straight away that I’d won something! That’s when I turned around and saw the ‘Division one sold here!’ banner and balloons hanging up in the store!” the winning man exclaimed.

“I’m pretty close to retirement, so this windfall means that I’m closer now than I thought!”

The winning ticket was purchased from Mt Waverley Lotto at 275 Stephensons Road in Mount Waverley.

The entry was registered to a Tatts Card, however because the winner’s contact details were out of date Tatts was unable to let them in on the dream-come-true news sooner.

Throughout Australia, there were five entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 26 September, each worth $823,417.86.

Along with the four division one winning prizes totalling more than $3.29 million from Victoria, there was one division one winning entry sold in New South Wales.

The four victorious Victorian entries were purchased from Mount Waverley, Yarrawonga, Knoxfield and online at Tatts.com.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3567 on Saturday 26 September were 22, 17, 26, 5, 13 and 12. The supplementary numbers were 4 and 44.

There are more chances to win big this week with Powerball jackpotting to a huge $10 million for tonight’s draw. Tickets are available now from all Tatts outlets or online from Tatts.com.
