Last season’s champions are on a momentum building run, having not tasted defeat since a round nine defeat to West Ham. Their 12 game unbeaten streak has seen them climb to second on the ladder and heap serious pressure on leaders Chelsea. After spending the best part of six weeks on the sidelines, Sergio Aguero returned to the fray in last week’s 1-1 draw with Everton. In the Argentine’s absence, attacking midfielder David Silva has stepped up to the plate. The slippery Spaniard has registered four goals and two assists in his past five matches, and he’s to find the net first.

Arsene Wegner’s men fared better than their opponents last time out, claiming a 3-0 victory over mid-table Stoke. The French manager can thank one man for that result – and that’s midfielder Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has been instrumental for the Gunners this season, and last week he dominated headlines once again after scoring two goals and setting up another. That performance lifted his season tally to 12 goals and seven assists, statistically making him the most valuable player in the league. German midfielder Mesut Ozil returned to the Gunners’ bench after a lengthy stint on the sidelines through injury, and he’s expected to start his first EPL match since October last year.

Manchester City dominate the head-to-head market, and considering their impressive run of form, they look hard to beat. With Sergio Aguero returning to bolster the Sky Blues’ attack, the Gunners will have to execute a perfect game plan to leave the Etihad with the three points.
