It has been two years since Denver Broncos  quarterback Peyton Manning was cut from the Indianapolis Colts , and he will look to make them pay once more when the two teams go head-to-head on Monday (AEST).

Last season, Manning had one of the highest passing completions in the league, averaging over 70% for the year. Off the back of him, the Broncos went on to win 15 out of 19 games and make it to the Super Bowl. It seems everyone thinks they will go on another hot streak, and TattsBet has them as second favourites , only behind last year’s champs the Seattle Seahawks . The big blow for the Broncos is the suspension of wide receiver Wes Welker, who will miss the next four games after testing positive to performance enhancing drugs.

The Colts have a cold hard fact for the Broncos; out of the Broncos' four losses last year, the first was at the hands of Indianapolis. They didn’t have as an impressive year as the Broncos, winning 12 from 18 games, but that hasn’t stopped punters having a crack, with the Colts gaining some attention at $21 to win the Super Bowl. Quarterback Andrew Luck will again lead the charge, after finishing last season with just over 3,900 passing yards and 23 touchdown passes.

When a team has MVP favourite Manning in the side, they have a huge advantage from the start. It seems everyone thinks that the Broncos are a sure thing, with the majority of money coming in for the home side.
