Who won a $554,000 TattsLotto prize in Darwin?

Monday 15 September, 2014 - A division one TattsLotto prize of $554,821.45 was won in the Northern Territory in the weekend’s draw!

The sizeable prize was won with a TattsLotto ticket purchased from Darwin Newsagency at 28 Smith Street Mall in Darwin.

Tatts spokesperson Zoe Knobel said the winner in the Top End is unregistered, so they may be totally unaware of their good fortune today.

“The TattsLotto ticket that won a prize of more than half a million dollars in Darwin was not registered to a Tatts Card, so we don’t have the winner’s contact details to give them a phone call with the good news,” Ms Knobel said.

“We encourage all TattsLotto players in Darwin who purchased unregistered tickets in the weekend’s draw to check those entries today!

“This is the second major lotto prize to be won in the Northern Territory so far this year, following a TattsLotto prize of $694,993.83 won from Coolalinga Newsagency in Howard Springs on 24 May 2014 and claimed by a man from the rural area of Darwin.

“We’re looking forward to speaking with the latest big winner in the NT!

“With TattsLotto’s $20 Million Superdraw coming up this weekend on Saturday, 20 September, we could see the winning streak continue in the Top End,” Ms Knobel added.

Throughout Australia, there were eight entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 13 September, each worth $554,821.45. Along with the winning entry purchased in the Northern Territory, there were four sold in Victoria, and one each in Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3459 on Saturday 13 September, 2014 were 1, 10, 14, 5, 33 and 29 with the supplementary numbers of 9 and 22.
