Champions Manchester City  travel to north London on Saturday night (AEST) to take on fellow title contenders Arsenal .

The Gunners head into this weekend’s blockbuster off the back of a dull 1-1  draw with competition newcomers Leicester. A lot has happened since the Round 3 clash, including the $28 million signing of Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck to replace the injured Oliver Giroud. Arsene Wegner snapped up the England international on deadline day, and it’s expected the 23-year-old will make his debut this weekend against a side he has grown to hate. Arsenal playmaker Aaron Ramsey is in a race against time to recover from an ankle injury, and he remains a 50-50 chance.

Manchester City suffered the shock of the round last time out, falling to a 1-0  loss at home to Stoke. It was a game coach Manuel Pelligrini’s men had every chance of winning, and the champions must bounce back to maintain pressure on front runners Chelsea. City will be confident ahead of the Round 4 clash, however, with last season’s 6-3 thrashing of Arsenal still fresh in their minds.

Manchester City opened as slight favourites at $2.40, however both sides have had admirers. Arsenal are always tough to crack at the Emirates, having lost just one out of 19 home matches in the 2013-14 season. With the exception of last year’s nine-goal thriller, this fixture is usually low scoring, with seven out of the past eight matches producing less than three goals .
