The Baltimore Ravens host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday morning (AEST) in the second week of the NFL.

Two years ago, the Ravens were the talk of the town. But last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, they looked dishevelled, losing 23-16. They didn’t put any points on the board until the second half and if it wasn’t for quarterback Joe Flacco, who finished with 345 passing yards and one touchdown pass, the score line would have been a lot worse. His receivers dropped an NFL-high six passes against the Bengals and his offensive line allowed him to get sacked three times. The off-field distraction of Ray Rice will no doubt play a part in Friday’s game.

The Steelers are in a rebuilding phase. Last week against the Cleveland Browns they were good without being great. Starting off the game in sensational form, they let a 24-point halftime lead almost slip through their fingers, eventually coming away with the win 30-27. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was once again their shining light, finishing with 365 passing yards and one touchdown pass, which included a career best 278 yards in the first half. Pittsburgh will head into Friday’s game full of confidence, but the fact that Baltimore has won four of their last six meetings will no doubt sit in the back of their minds.

One team is on the decline, while the other is on the rise, and Punters are getting on board. More than double the amount of bets are coming in at TattsBet for the Steelers, and that trend is expected to continue.
