It is getting down to the business end of the season and this is when the quality teams stand up. The Manly Sea Eagles  are looking for five wins in a row, while the South Sydney Rabbitohs  are coming off three straight. With both teams in fine form, many are wondering if this is a Grand Final preview.

This is also the time for the superstars to shine. Cue Greg Inglis! Last Sunday, he caused numerous headaches for the Knights, with 16 runs (for 150 metres), 4 tackle busts and 2 line breaks. To back up GI, coach Michael Maguire welcomes back some other big names for this clash - Englishman Sam Burgess (injury) returns to lock and Maroons utility forward Ben Te’o (suspension) in the second row. Ben Lowe and Joe Picker have both been named on an extended bench.

Manly too are chock full of class across the paddock - from Brett Stewart at fullback, Jamie Lyon in the centres, Brenton Lawrence in the front row and Daly Cherry-Evans at halfback. Every player knows his job and always seems to perform. Against the Broncos last week they may have not been at their clinical best, but when they needed to perform they did. Kieran Foran was again outstanding, continuously questioning the defence by taking the line on. Finishing with more metres than any other player (171m), he literally had the game in his hands. Jorge Taufua returns from injury to take his place on the wing and Justin Horo jumps onto the bench after serving his suspension, pushing Cheyse Blair and Tyson Andrews out of the side.

This will be an epic clash. Watch for the battle in the middle between the Burgess brothers and Manly’s forward pack. If both teams play to their potential, it will be the pick of the round. The early money has all been for Souths.
