Social media helps find missing TattsLotto winner!

Tuesday 5 August, 2014 - The question of who won the first division TattsLotto prize of $400,000 in the Victorian town of Ouyen has been answered with a young local couple coming forward and claiming the prize this morning.

The winning woman said she was unaware Tatts had been searching for a division one winner from the weekend’s TattsLotto draw until last night.

“I actually saw a post on social media saying that there was a winning TattsLotto entry sold in Ouyen. So I decided to get out our ticket and check it,” the happy winner explained.

“I couldn’t believe it when I realised we had the winning ticket! I was so excited; I don’t think I slept last night!

“Our winning numbers were actually family birthdays so they were special numbers – now they’re even more special!

“We plan to use our TattsLotto prize money to buy a family home and set ourselves up for the future.”

The unregistered 12-game marked entry was purchased from Ouyen Authorised Newsagency, 31 Oke Street in Ouyen.

The winning TattsLotto entry was not registered to a Tatts Card so Tatts was unable to contact the winner with the good news. The winners have chosen to remain anonymous.

Throughout Australia, there were 11 entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 2 August, each worth $400,009.97. Along with the three winning entries from Victoria, there were two each purchased in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3447 on Saturday 2 August, 2014 were 30, 12, 26, 10, 7 and 36 with the supplementary numbers of 32 and 15.

Tickets are on sale now from all Tatts outlets and online from for Powerball’s $40 million jackpot draw on Thursday, and TattsLotto’s $21 Million Superdraw on Saturday!
