Geelong West pensioner wins TattsLotto

An age pensioner from Geelong West won $400,000 in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw and plans to share the prize money with his children.

Tatts spoke with the winning man and his daughter on his behalf about the good news.

“Dad’s really happy to have won TattsLotto but he’s gone very quiet! He can hardly believe it,” the winner’s daughter said.

The winning man doesn’t have any grand plans for how to use his $400,000 windfall.

“Dad’s a vision-impaired pensioner and said he doesn’t want to do anything special for himself. He just wants to help everyone in the family with the prize money, and mum wants to buy herself a new pair of shoes!” the winner’s daughter said.

The man won his $400,009.97 TattsLotto prize with a 10-game marked entry purchased from Shandeen Post Office & Lotto, 266A Shannon Avenue in Geelong West.
