$1.4 million TattsLotto prize won in Wodonga!

Monday 25 August, 2014 - The Wodonga community has received a huge cash injection with a prize of $1.4 million won there in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw!

The division one prize of $1,438,292.08 will be shared among a syndicate of 21 TattsLotto players from the Wodonga area!

The syndicate leader spoke to a Tatts official today and said the group of friends was stunned by their windfall.

“We play TattsLotto together every Saturday. There’s a lot of excitement among the group now,” the syndicate leader said.

“We have to get together to discuss going about claiming our prize. We’ll all take home around $68,000.”

The syndicate’s winning TattsLotto 12-game marked ticket was purchased from Birallee Lotto, Shop G14 in Birallee Shopping Centre, Melrose Drive in Wodonga.

Birallee Lotto is no stranger to big TattsLotto wins, having sold a division one TattsLotto prize of $469,462.57 in April 2012. The winner’s identity remained a mystery until the prize was claimed by a very surprised local Wodonga woman two weeks after the draw.

Throughout Australia, there were three entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 23 August, each worth $1,438,292.08. Along with the winning entry purchased in Victoria, there were two sold in New South Wales.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3453 on Saturday 23 August, 2014 were 29, 43, 40, 11, 30 and 41 with the supplementary numbers of 2 and 4.
