$4.9 million Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot won!

Thursday 21 August, 2014 - A woman from Sutherland Shire is already celebrating becoming a multi-millionaire ahead of tonight’s $70 million Powerball draw after winning the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize today!

The mother of two initially couldn’t believe what she’d been told when a NSW Lotteries official informed her she’d won the jackpot prize worth $4,910,000!

“No way! This is a joke right?” the shocked winner questioned.

“Holy guacamole! That’s amazing! I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for years and years.

“My mind boggles with what I could do with my prize money. I’m really hoping this win means my husband will retire – that’s my biggest dream!

“He’s been on night shift but I’m going to call him now and wake him up! I don’t think he’ll believe me though.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said it was too early to say what she’ll do with her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall but did know she wanted to share her prize money with her family.

The winning Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket in draw 9927 was purchased at West Engadine Newsagency, 121A Anzac Avenue in Engadine.

This is the fifth New South Wales Lotteries player to win a division one prize in less than one week!

The winning streak kicked off when a Saturday Lotto customer scored a first division prize worth more than $715,000 in the weekend’s draw, followed by a $1 million win in Monday Lotto, and last night two winners from New South Wales each picked up $1 million in Wednesday Lotto.

Unlike lotto style games where the top prize is often shared between winners, Lucky Lotteries is a draw lottery where the jackpot winner takes the lot. This means the jackpot prize can only be won by a unique Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket number.

The jackpot prize in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot game is won when the selected jackpot ticket number has already won a cash prize in the same draw.

The Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize has reverted to the base prize offer of $500,000 for draw 9928.
