Jose Mourinho’s new-look Chelsea  begin their quest of winning a fourth EPL title against newly-promoted Burnley  on Tuesday morning (AEST).

The Blues have been arguably the busiest English side in the transfer market following a string of impressive off-season signings. Cesc Fabregas has joined from Barcelona, much to the dismay of Gunners fans, while they also gain the services of Spanish striker Diego Costa. Also returning is a familiar face around Stamford Bridge, with Didier Drogba back at Chelsea after a two-year stint in Turkey and China.

Burnley earned promotion into the EPL following a stellar 2013-14 campaign in the Championship. The Clarets finished the season eight points clear of third spot, and eight points below champions and fellow newcomers, Leicester. Danny Ings, who scored 21 goals in the Championship last season, will lead from the front for Sean Dyche’s side, while Matt Taylor will pull the strings in the midfield.

Chelsea are overwhelming favourites in what is shaping up to be a real David and Goliath battle. They have enough class to mix it with the best in Europe, so shouldn’t have any worries against the new kids in town.
