Winning TattsLotto makes family meeting finally possible

Wednesday 30 July, 2014 - A couple in their 40s from Highett have come forward to claim their division one TattsLotto prize of $477,627.84 from Saturday’s draw and are carefully writing a list of the dreams that they can now fulfil!

“The most important thing that we can do now that we’ve won TattsLotto is travel interstate so my Nanna can meet her great-grandson for the first time,” the winning wife told a Tatts official.

“We haven’t been on a holiday in five years, since our honeymoon, so it will be a nice time to relax for the whole family.

“Things have been tight lately with mortgage repayments and childcare so this is a huge relief for us.

“We have an old, run-down house that desperately needs renovating so we’ll be able to do that and we’ll put a large part of the prize money towards our mortgage,” she said.

“I went pale white as soon as I realised we’d won TattsLotto; I was so shocked that I felt sick and my husband couldn’t believe it,” the winning woman added.

The couple won their $477,627.84 TattsLotto prize with an 18-game marked entry purchased from A to Z Lotto, Kiosk 133a in Westfield Southland, 1239 Nepean Highway in Cheltenham.

Throughout Australia, there were nine entries that won a first division share of TattsLotto’s estimated $4 million division one prize pool on Saturday 26 July, each worth $477,627.84. Along with the two winning entries from Victoria, three winning tickets were sold in Queensland, one each in New South Wales and South Australia, and two were from Western Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3445 on Saturday 26 July, 2014 were 28, 5, 7, 40, 12 and 45 with the supplementary numbers of 20 and 37.
