Campbelltown Policeman wins $1 million Lotto prize!

Monday 30 June, 2014 - A Campbelltown Policeman has come forward to claim his Wednesday Lotto prize of $1 million from last week’s draw on 25 June!

The claim comes within a week since a work syndicate of 20 Police officers shared in a division one prize of $860,000 from the Saturday Lotto draw on 21 June with a ticket purchased in Coogee!

The latest member of the New South Wales Police force to claim a Lotto prize was totally shocked when he checked his Wednesday Lotto ticket today on a routine trip to his local newsagent.

“I only check my Lotto tickets once a week when I buy new ones at the shop, and I didn’t expect to hear I’d won $1 million when I walked in today!” the winning man said.

“I have absolutely nothing in mind for how to spend the prize money just yet. It will help with the mortgage, but I’m not sure what else I’ll do.

“To be honest, I feel like I’ve already won the Lotto with my beautiful wife at home,” he said.

The 59-year-old said he won’t give up his Police work despite his newfound millionaire status and being so close to retirement.

“I still enjoy work. I’ve been in the Police force for 40 years so it’s gotta be a good job!”

The man purchased his winning Wednesday Lotto 12-game QuickPick entry from Chamberlain Street Newsagency, Shop 2 at 70 Chamberlain Street in Campbelltown.

Wednesday Lotto offers a guaranteed $1 million division one prize for up to four winners in every draw.

The winning numbers in Wednesday Lotto draw 3359 on 25 June 2014 were 3, 20, 5, 9, 13 and 27 with the supplementary numbers 25 and 44.

Players have a chance to win DOUBLE the prize money this week in Wednesday Lotto draw 3361 on Wednesday 2 July! The special Double Dividends promotion allows players to win double the prize money in divisions one to six.
