Win a tax-free Lotto prize in Saturday’s Superdraw!

Friday 27 June, 2014 - With tax time just around the corner, Saturday Lotto is giving players the chance to ease any tax burden and kick start the new financial year with a share in $22 million this Saturday!

Two Saturday Lotto players may have even spent the current financial year completely unaware that they had more money than they or the tax man knew about.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Zoe Knobel said two division one prizes remain unclaimed in New South Wales.

“A Saturday Lotto prize worth $1.4 million won in Gladesville in January still hasn’t been claimed, and a prize of $290,000 won in Oak Flats this month is also going wanting!” Ms Knobel said.

“We’re urging Saturday Lotto players to check their tickets and also to remember to register future entries to a Players Club card to ensure all their prizes are secure.”

Tickets are now on sale for Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw on 28 June.

“The extra sweetener if you win a division one prize in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw is that the prize money is tax-free!” Ms Knobel said.

“At tax time last June there were 12 winning entries around the country that shared in the Saturday Lotto division one prize pool in Draw 3333, with four winning entries from New South Wales claiming $2.5 million each.

“A man from Sydney’s western suburbs won one of those tax-free $2.5 million prizes and it allowed him to buy a new business for himself!” Ms Knobel added.

“You can buy your ticket in Saturday Lotto’s $22 Million Superdraw from your local NSW Lotteries outlet or online from Tatts.com.”
