Mother of three wins $96,000 in The Pools!

Tuesday 27 May, 2014 - A woman from the New South Wales Mid North Coast is more than $96,000 richer after scoring a first division win in The Pools, a NSW Lotteries game where the winning numbers are based on the results of local and international soccer matches.

The mother of three said she discovered she’d won a division one prize of $96,020.66 when she checked her entry on the internet last night.

“It’s wonderful! I picked my numbers about 10 years ago and I’ve been playing them ever since!” the excited winner exclaimed.

When asked if the prize money would come in handy with the end of the financial year looming, the winner responded, “Anytime of the year is a good time to win money!”.

The regular The Pools player, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she has already planned what she’ll do with her prize money.

“I’ll use the money to get a few things done around the house.”

There was only one entry that scooped the entire first division prize pool of $96,020.66 in The Pools. The winning 18-game marked entry was purchased at Port Central Newsagency, Shop 1 in Port Central Shopping Centre, 40 Horton Street in Port Macquarie.

The winning numbers in The Pools draw 1504 were 29, 18, 36, 26, 25 and 23. The supplementary number was 20.
