Gold Coast Suns v GWS
Metricon Stadium
Saturday April 26, 1.40pm (AEST)
Form:
Suns: WLWLW
GWS: WLWLL
Why watch?
Gold Coast is making no secret of their determination to remind fellow AFL newcomers Greater Western Sydney who is the big brother.
The Giants head north for Saturday's clash between the competition's new boys with just one win separating them on the ladder.
Match notes
- Battle of the gun midfields - the Giants are ranked second in the competition in clearances and the Suns third
- Gold Coast is inside the top eight after five rounds with a 3-2 record, while the Giants already have matched their best season haul with two wins in the opening five weeks
- GWS missing experienced players Shane Mumford, Phil Davis, Rhys Palmer through injury while Heath Shaw and Callan Ward are also in serious doubt
Say what?
"Obviously being the newer clubs in the competition, we'd like to stamp our mark on them," Suns onballer Jarrod Harbrow says the days of pencilling in a win against the Giants are long gone

Fantasy factoid
Suns skipper Gary Ablett remains Sportal AFL Fantasy's top ranked player, averaging 179.2 points per round. Remember Sportal AFL Fantasy is a week-by-week competition, so you can join at any time.
Cold hard fact
Gold Coast is ranked 15th for total disposals this season. The Giants are even worse at getting their hands on the footy and are ranked16th.
Final word
The match will test pace v power - GWS has the power forwards, but the Suns have pace to burn.
Based on the fact and GWS has one of the worst injury lists in the competition and because the game is at Metricon Stadium, we're tipping Gold Coast to win by 12 points.
